This role focuses on improving user consistency, documenting assets, and assisting with machine upgrades and replacements.
- Location: South Portland, ME
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Project Length: Approximately 3 to 6 months
- Work Type: On-site
- Clean and organize IT workspaces and storage areas
- Document IT assets and workstation inventories
- Perform Windows 11 upgrades on office machines
- Image and replace end?of?life office workstations
- Document all machines in Fab and OT environments
- Rejoin Fab and OT machines to the domain
- Upgrade Fab and OT workstations to Windows 11
- Image and replace machines in Fab and OT spaces
- Assist with standardizing workstation configurations to ensure consistent user experience
- Help reduce user issues caused by inconsistent OS, browser, and application setups
- Support identification of required websites and URLs used in Fab environments
- Coordinate with IT, engineers, and technicians to support approved access needs
- Desktop or field IT support experience
- Experience imaging, upgrading, and replacing PCs
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and domain joined machines
- Comfortable working in office, manufacturing, Fab, or OT environments
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Ability to follow standards and repeatable processes
- Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
