Role Overview: This position involves assembling pallets of products and loading them onto trailers, ensuring compliance with company and food safety standards.
- Responsibilities: Read pick sheets, locate products using warehouse equipment, label and build pallets, load trucks accurately, maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, communicate issues to management, operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, complete paperwork, and report equipment issues.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; minimum 6 months warehouse experience preferred; forklift and pallet jack certification required.
- Skills: Knowledge of safe lifting and food safety procedures, ability to operate warehouse equipment, strong attention to accuracy and safety, effective communication, basic math skills, problem-solving, and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical Demands & Work Environment: Regular standing, walking, lifting 50-90 pounds, working in hot/cold/humid conditions, exposure to moving machinery and loud noise, with accommodations available for disabilities.
