Selector - Outbound

Role Summary: This position involves hand-building pallets and loading products onto trailers to meet company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Read pick sheets, locate products using a pallet jack, and assemble pallets with correct items and quantities.
• Label and handle products following food safety procedures, inspecting for damages and minimizing contamination.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, addressing spills or damages promptly.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and scanners safely, reporting issues to management.
• Complete documentation and track work using wearable computers, ensuring productivity standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding operational concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred; six months warehouse experience or equivalent work experience.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting, food safety, and ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong communication, basic math skills, problem-solving ability, and adherence to safety protocols.
  
  

Physical & Work Environment: Must regularly stand, walk, lift 50-90 pounds, and work in varied conditions including extreme temperatures, loud environments, and high places. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
