The Director of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the consumer marketing strategy for YORVIPATH® to drive disease and brand awareness. This role owns the broad patient activation activities - translating patient insights, behavioral data, and clinical context into compelling strategies, campaigns, and experiences that motivate patients to seek diagnosis and treatment. Expertise in integrated marketing planning, including building omnichannel campaigns anchored in TV and supported by digital, social, search, CRM, and point-of-care; strong media planning and buying literacy.
The Director partners closely with brand team, HCP Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, and Regulatory to ensure a cohesive, compliant, and high-impact go-to-market approach. This role is accountable for patient engagement, brand growth, and executional excellence across awareness and consideration.

The annual base salary for this position is $225,000 - $245,000. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.

Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Identify opportunities to expand the diagnosed and treated patient population through disease awareness and education.
- Translate complex disease concepts and clinical data into clear, motivating patient narratives that drive action.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner on brand direction, investment decisions, and performance optimization.
- Lead integrated DTC campaigns across channels including TV, streaming, digital, social, search, paid media, CRM, and patient engagement platforms.
- Oversee development of both unbranded disease awareness and branded campaigns to drive patient pull-through.
- Partner with media and creative agencies to develop high-impact campaigns that resonate with patients and caregivers.
- Support major campaign launches and optimizations through strong cross-functional coordination.
- Media planning & buying literacy: Understanding GRPs, reach/frequency, linear vs. CTV, programmatic TV, and performance optimization.
- Performance analytics: Ability to interpret lift studies and brand tracking to optimize TV spend and messaging.
- Digital fluency: Understanding how TV integrates with digital retargeting, search lift, and full funnel measurement.
- Partner closely with HCP Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Patient Services to ensure alignment across the patient ecosystem.
- Work with Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance to develop timely, compliant patient-facing materials.
- Lead and manage agency partners.
- Ensure strategic alignment, high-quality execution, and on-time delivery across campaigns.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience, with significant DTC or patient marketing leadership.
- Proven experience leading integrated DTC campaigns in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of patient behavior, media strategy, and omnichannel engagement.
- Experience translating complex disease education into compelling patient campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
- Experience leading or scaling DTC investment for a growth-stage brand, inclusive of TV launch experience.
- Specialty or rare disease experience.
- Experience managing significant media budgets and performance marketing initiatives.
- Up to 25% travel (including select weekends) may be required.
