Duties

• Supervise children ages 3-7 during various camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times
• Lead and facilitate recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, theater performances, and team-building exercises
• Manage classroom settings or activity stations with effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
• Provide first aid and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns following established protocols
• Support children with special needs or learning differences by implementing tailored activities and accommodations
• Assist with daily camp routines including check-in/check-out procedures, snack times, and rest periods
• Foster a welcoming environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and personal growth among campers

Skills

• Strong experience in working with children across various age groups, including early childhood education or daycare experience
• Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management strategies to maintain a positive environment
• Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid protocols for emergencies
• Background in teaching or tutoring young children with an understanding of childhood development principles
• Experience in special education or youth programs teaching is highly desirable
• Ability to lead sports coaching sessions or recreational activities that promote physical activity and teamwork
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
