About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to take ownership of accounting, payroll, and financial operations for our U.S. business across several states. This individual will also assist in the administrative management of the facility. This is an on-site role based at our facility in Arlington Washington.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
· Lead monthly and year-end closing processes.
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, internal reports, and management dashboards.
· Oversee and process multi-state payroll, including payroll tax filings and benefit deductions.
· Coordinate employee benefits accounting, including payroll deductions, benefit invoice reconciliation, and tracking of enrollments and terminations.
· Administer and reconcile employee expenses, including credit card usage and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policy.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal tax filings (sales tax, 1099s, etc.).
· Maintain and improve accounting processes within NetSuite ERP.
· Collaborate with external CPA firms for annual filings, audits, and tax strategy.
· Support internal controls and documentation of procedures.
· Communicate effectively across departments.
· Basic office management
Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll, ideally in a small to mid-sized business.
· Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred).
· Solid understanding of GAAP, full-cycle accounting, and payroll regulations.
· Experience handling multi-state payroll and accounting.
· Strong Excel skills and familiarity with budgeting/forecasting tools.
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
· CPA license is a plus but not required.
