SUMMARY:
Accounts Payable Manager supervises the daily activities in the accounting department, record, track and audit financial information accuracy, manage accounting staff members, make sure month-end and year-end closing completion in timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage the daily operations of accounts payable, and general ledger.
· Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintain accurate records.
· Process weekly check runs to make sure all the vendor payments are issued on time.
· Oversee and validate company’s credit card expenses for payment process and reconcile the discrepancies if any.
· Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Responsible for month-end closing of financial records and posting all month-end entries, ensure accuracy of financial statements.
· Maintain all general ledgers, including monthly review and reconciliation of all journal entries.
· Provide monthly financial statements and reports to head-quarter and ensure reports accuracy and comply with company policies and procedures.
· Perform, support the quarterly and annual audit activities and coordinate with HQ and external auditors, based on audit schedule.
· Monitor the preparation of our tax returns and filing to meet all tax compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations.
· Ensure compliance with ta regulations, including sales/use tax and 1099 reporting requirements.
· Oversee fixed assets management and complete bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
· Supervise and train accounting staff to ensure efficient operation of account payable function.
· Support budget and forecast activities and special projects from top management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in managerial role.
