ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and supervise the activities of Quality technicians to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Establish and implement a program for review of all scrap and rejected parts for possible rework.
- Provide support to vendors in resolving technical problems and improving the quality of supplied parts.
- Accept or reject parts in accordance with procedures and submit reports to appropriate departments.
- Maintain awareness of the status and stage of production with department.
- Create and implement non-conforming parts procedures.
- Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
- Ensure safe operations.
- Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan.
- Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
- Assist with the maintenance of the China Compulsory certification (CCC) system.
- Administer performance reviews.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Requires the ability to use and apply knowledge of quality and ISO practices.
