Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and stairwells using appropriate cleaning techniques.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to sanitation standards and infection control protocols.
- Perform window cleaning and pressure washing tasks to uphold the property's exterior appearance.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities like floor care, including mopping, polishing, and heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or furniture when necessary.
- Follow all safety procedures by utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks and handling chemicals responsibly.
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Experience with infection control procedures and sanitation standards to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling protocols for cleaning agents and disinfectants.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts.
