Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Perform window cleaning and floor care to uphold the highest cleanliness standards.
• Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including pressure washers and janitorial tools, while adhering to proper chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and ensuring all areas meet infection control protocols.
• Assist with custodial tasks in public spaces, corridors, and service areas to support overall facility cleanliness.
• Support heavy lifting activities for moving supplies or furniture while using personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety at all times.
• Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care.
• Experience with laundry services and handling cleaning chemicals safely.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique and PPE use.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and sanitation procedures in hospitality settings.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
