The Desktop Support Analyst provides technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for computer systems, applications, and related technologies. This role ensures that systems function efficiently and reliably, helping end-users resolve technical issues while contributing to system enhancements and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support for end users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop, network, and enterprise system issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software.
- Document incidents, problems, and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Perform routine system backups, patches, and updates.
- Support the integration and implementation of new IT solutions.
- Conduct training and create user guides or documentation for staff.
- Maintain inventory of hardware/software assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or help desk roles.
- Experience supporting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with networking principles and Active Directory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft certifications.
