Food Services Director

Are you a culinary leader with a love for great food and a talent for guiding others? We're looking for a Food Services Director to join our kitchen team and bring both excellence and heart to every dish served. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations, support menu execution, and mentor our culinary team, all while creating memorable dining experiences for our residents and guests.

What You'll Do

• Supervise day-to-day back-of-house operations to ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to consistently deliver high-quality meals
• Assist with menu planning, food prep, and special events
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control in alignment with budget goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that meets all health codes
• Collaborate with front-of-house and leadership teams to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Support innovation in recipes, presentation, and resident satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of culinary experience in a supervisory or lead cook role (senior living, healthcare, or hospitality a plus)
• Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups
• Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-first mindset
• Passion for food, service, and continuous improvement
