Trustpoint.One is pleased to be partnering with a dynamic global corporation in their search for a Temporary Senior Litigation Paralegal to work with them onsite in Palo Alto. We are looking for a skilled litigation paralegal with exclusive focus on insurance and energy-related litigation matters. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during high stakes litigation including assisting with discovery and eDiscovery workflows, preparing for hearings and trial. This is an onsite role located in Palo Alto.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings and motions and file them with the court via e-filing
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Coordinate document collection from internal systems
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Manage document review platforms, including Relativity and Logikcull
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
- Prepare for hearings, mediation and trial
Skills
- Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal in the areas of insurance defense and/or energy litigation
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures and practices
- Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including utilizing Lexis, e-filing, PACER
