In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing basic office support for clinical intake operations.
Job Description
- Obtaining/processing referrals and pre-authorizations for select procedures
- Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software
- Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
- Researching and appealing denied claims
- Assisting with intakes, employment verification, etc.
- Credentialing with insurance companies
- Outreach
- Scheduling; helping with office duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills, strong customer service skills, and ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a teamwork environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, , Allscripts HHA xchange, Availity and internet applications.
- Bilingual a must

$20-23 p/h based on experience
