Waterfront Director
Camp Thayer is a seasonal co-ed day camp that runs from June 15 - August 7, 2026, with a wide variety of daily schedule options, providing children ages 3.9 to 14 with an engaging and stimulating setting where they can actively enjoy the summer.

What you will do: |
- Oversees all aspects of the waterfront program
- ensure that the standards for the water area are met, including, in some instances, being aware of water bacteria levels in nearby areas or in the specific area.
- responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility or waterfront activities during hours of operation
- Ensure a warm, welcoming, high-quality camp aquatic experience

Who we are looking for: |
- One to two (1-2) years of experience in the area of Aquatic pool or waterfront direction
- Must have prior lifeguarding experience, preferably as a Head Lifeguard at a pool or open water swimming area
- Must be at least 21
- Must be in compliance with the American Red Cross or an affiliate, fully certified in First Aid, CPR, and water safety.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.
- Enforce and follow camp rules, regulations, and policies.

COMPENSATION: |
- $1,000 - $1,500 Weekly
- 35 hours per week
