Required Skills / Experience: Radiation Therapy Treatment
Able to complete a clinical on-call new start, including the calculations necessary.
Able to perform a clinical template of electron fields
Able to successfully immobilize the prostate and rectum using an endorectal balloon with gas release techniques
Able to deliver radiation to breasts using free breathing multi-isocenter setup techniques with photons and electrons
Able to deliver radiation using the Active Breathing Coordinator system to the Comprehensive Breast, Static IMRT Lung, and Static IMRT Abdomen isocenters
Complete a 6-month rotation in CT Simulation to obtain the following skills: Able to simulate the following sites, including the production of necessary immobilization devices: CNS, Head and Neck, Lung, GI, GU, GYN, Extremity, Free Breathing Breast, and perform Free Breathing 4DCT scans.
Required Credentials: Education: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
Must be a graduate of a JRCERT - Accredited program in radiation therapy or a suitable equivalent.
