Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience Strong blood bank experience. Experience in hematology, chemistry, and/or blood bank. Required Credentials LA fire card within the last 30 days is required. Special Requests RTO: Aya Offer: < 7 Days, Client Offer: > 7 Days. Anything more than 7 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests. Shift & Scheduling Hours: 0400AM-1230PM on weekdays, 0600-1430 weekends; Weekends may exceed every other to meet dept need. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD). Floating Requirements May be scheduled between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach - CLNs may be floated between locations at any time before or during shift.

Required Skills/Experience: Hospital clinical laboratory, Blood Bank, ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID, AHG Crossmatch, Antigen Typing, Crossmatch-Immediate Spin/IgG, Direct Coombs (DAT), Electronic Crossmatch, Indirect Coombs Test, Transfusion Reaction Workup, Equipment, Hematology/Coagulation, Urinalysis.

• Community Hospital Experience.
• Preferred Skills: Commercial or Reference Laboratories, Cold Agglutinins, Plasmapheresis, Plateletpheresis, Rhogam Screening, Antibody Typing: Tube Method, ACL TOP, CellaVision, Colorimeters, Iris Cell, Sysmex XM, WAM, Automated Instrument Use, CBC Manual, Manual Differential, Fetal hemoglobin, Malarial Examination, Occult Blood, Platelet aggregation, Platelet Count, Reticulocyte Count, Sed Rate Manual, Sickle cell prep, TEGs, Analyzer, Crystal identification, Manual macroscopic UA, Microscopic UA, Trauma, Children's Hospital.

Details:
