Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will report directly to the Head of Shipping & Receiving and work in a warehouse setting. The Candidate will be responsible for all inbound receipts and outbound shipments for the main building.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes or other cartons required for shipment
• Verify items picked match the paperwork delivered by the Tooling or Production Departments prior to performing the Post Goods Issue in SAP
• Execute the Post Goods Issue transaction in SAP
• Package all parts received from the Tooling or Production Departments according to best practices for each item to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to standard shipping needs for Domestic and International shipments, experience with hazmat shipments preferred
• Receive incoming goods on a daily basis and disposition them to the corresponding departments
• Communicate shipping errors encountered with the applicable CSR or Supervisor
• Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm. Some Holidays and weekends may be required.

Experience/Requirements

• Previous SAP Ship ERP experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly without assistance.
• The position requires the Candidate to stand for long periods of time on concrete floor.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• One plus years' experience in a shipping or receiving function.
