Director of Hospitality

Trump Winery is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-driven Director of Hospitality to lead our tasting rooms, retail, and hospitality operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Director of Hospitality will be responsible for overseeing and guiding tasting room leadership, developing team leads, managing budgets and financial performance, and ensuring all service standards align with brand expectations. This position is full-time and requires availability to work weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.

Location: Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA - 15 minutes south of Charlottesville city limits and 20 minutes North of Scottsville VA

Hours: Full-Time

Wage: $80,000- $90,000 per year

Essential Duties

• Lead, hire, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate teams across tasting room and retail operations.
• Provide leadership and direction to Tasting Room Managers, Clubs Manager, and food & beverage leaders
• Elevate hospitality standards to a 5-star level through training, service rituals, and leadership development.
• Foster a high-performing, guest-focused culture centered on exceptional service.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu development, pricing, cost of goods, and inventory management.
• Ensure all operations meet established quality, service, and brand standards.
• Resolve guest concerns and implement improvements to enhance the overall experience.
• Drive innovation in tasting experiences, hospitality programming, and events to increase engagement and revenue.
• Oversee retail merchandising to ensure visually appealing, brand-consistent displays.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring revenue goals and cost controls are met.
• Ensure compliance with ABC regulations, Health Department standards, and food safety requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of hospitality or food & beverage leadership (winery, hotel, or restaurant preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Education: Bachelor's degree or industry related experience.
