What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago?
Support the day to day administrative duties for the Human Resources office and all associates at the property. Manage associate relations activities and communications.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the office and all associates with general administrative duties (I9s, ADP administration, upkeep of File center maintenance, new hire paperwork, associate discounts and general inquires)
Manage Day to day associate communications
Manage and plan associate events
Manage and communicate over Band and Linked In
Effectively execute and administer compliance responsibilities
Assist payroll manager weekly - Audit ADP and Filecnter weekly
Assist in the recruitment process for potential candidates: pre-employment screening, scheduling and coordinating interviews
Provide employment verification
Maintain associate areas, monitors, and bulletin boards
Ensure associate documents are properly accounted for
Able to work safely and participate in Safety Committee Performs duties and tasks as directed by management
Offers friendly and approachable service to internal and external customers
Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements
Able to sit for long periods of time (up to 8 hrs)
Able to walk, stand, climb stairs
Able to lift up to 30 lbs., push/pull up to 50
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; excellent command of the English language
Able to handle sensitive information and data accurately and with absolute confidentiality
Typing 80 words per minute
Able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast/high stress work environment
Specific Position Requirements
Excellent command of the English language
Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Able to handle sensitive information
Able to read, process, interpret, analyze and maintain accuracy in records
Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality
College degree or equivalent experience
At least one year of HR or Administrative experience
HR or related degree strongly preferred
Second language will be advantageous
Excellent command of computer systems and office equipment; ability to learn new programs/software as required
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or Hospitality Management preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Two years HR experience preferred.
Two years hotel experience preferred.
One year experience working with applicant tracking systems.
