What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Maintenance Engineer position at Trump International Beach Resort?
SUMMARY
Performs all building maintenance tasks as assigned and all preventative maintenance tasks as required. Answers radio calls and responds to guest room and public area calls in a prompt and professional manner according to standards. Follows-up and updates status of ongoing projects Engineer Management in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general repair and / or maintenance on the following including but not limited to:
Minor plumbing repairs or maintenance on faucets, lavatories, water closets, and valves
Replace flush valves and faucet seats or washers and shower valves or heads as required
Pull toilets and replace wax rings and grouting as required
Troubleshoot and repairs minor TV problems and telephone problems as required
Troubleshoot and repairs problems with electronic door locks and safes
Repair minor carpet tears and burns as required
Replace light bulbs and repairs minor lighting problems
Repair sliding glass doors and locks
Replace pulls and knobs and aligns drawers, repairs other minor problems on cabinets and furniture.
Clean and / or replaces air conditioning filters.
Repair minor problems with entrance and closet doors.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
Perform any other general building maintenance tasks as assigned
Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) developed by the Engineering department of TIBR.
Execute Policy and Procedures (P&P) for engineering practice developed by Engineering department.
Conduct day to day operation of repair and maintenance of various Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning) systems for the hotel.
Conduct inventory control of material and spare parts used within the maintenance process.
Participate in fire drills, testing of Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Systems.
Ensure all maintenance practices are conducted appropriately by exercising the SOP and P&P developed by the Engineering department.
Supervise the strategic direction of general projects related to the enhancement of the hotel.
Ensure operation and maintenance are conducted using appropriate materials and practices based on the Engineering Policy and Procedures.
Maintain all equipment and systems functioning to its optimum benefit.
Attend department meetings, trainings, etc
May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description

The work environment is varied. Work is performed both inside and outside. Outside can be in inclement weather including rain and warm temperatures. Work is also performed in both guest contact and non guest contact areas.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate except in mechanical areas and when using certain equipment. Work involves using various tools, including tools that may be considered dangerous. Protective equipment and clothing will be required. Proper safety precautions specified by the tool manufacturer and/or OSHA must be followed.
