POSITION:
- Girls Junior Varsity Softball Coach
- Supplemental Contract 2026/2027
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a valid Ohio Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit, CPR/First Aid Certification, Concussion Training, Ohio Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Training and Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.
- Displays appropriate appearance, behavior, and language during games and practices.
- Reflects a positive attitude and uses sound, consistent judgments when making decisions.
- Ability to motivate athletes.
- Prior coaching experience at or above high school level preferred.
- Knows the fundamentals of the sport.
- Has fundamental teaching and coaching ability.
- Responsible for issuing, care, and collection of equipment.
- Has respect, control, and discipline of athletes under his/her supervision.
- Exhibits intensity and dedication to coaching.
- Develops and distributes organized practice schedules which utilize staff, team and individuals to maximum potential.
- Shows in season and out of season involvement and commitment to program.
- Cooperates and communicates with players, parents, head and assistant coaches, athletic director and administration during the entire school year.
- Abides by the rules and regulations of the OHSAA and NE8.
- Successful BCI & FBI background checks.
COMPENSATION:
- In accordance with the negotiated agreement's salary schedule.
