POSITION:
- Bus Driver
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B or higher, with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements.
- Must maintain a valid Ohio driver's license and meet CDL requirements under Ohio BMV rules.
- Hold or obtain Ohio School Bus Operator Certification via pre-service training and in-service requirements under OAC 3301-83.10.
- Must pass a BCI/FBI background check, drug and alcohol testing, physical exam, and driver's record review as required by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).
- Thorough knowledge of Ohio traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
- Ability to operate a large vehicle safely in all weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, dependability, and good judgment.
- Demonstrate professionalism and the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and the administration.
- Must be able to carry out the duties of the job description
