What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Aide -- Girard City Schools position at Trumbull County Educational Service Center?
POSITION:
Clerical Aide (5 Hour)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have current, valid Educational Assistant permit with an ESEA endorsement
Must have experience working in Progressbook or similar SIS
Monitor and enforce all HB410 attendance rules and regulations
Monitor and enforce all district tardy rules and regulations
Generate information and data regarding student absences for use by the building administration
Work with and assist parents or guardians understanding by verifying authorization and explaining attendance rules and regulations
Build positive relationships with students and parents/guardians
Issue attendance letters and phone calls as needed
Coordinates planning, scheduling and execution of attendance meetings
Files appropriate data and paperwork with the courts involving truancy and chronic absenteeism
Must be able to work with administration, building personnel and court personnel
Must have successful BCI and FBI background checks
Must have successful drug test
