Licensed Acupuncturist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing relevant assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs and health goals.
• Provide acupuncture treatments for a variety of conditions, including acute and chronic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, stress-related conditions, and overall wellness support.
• Utilize proper aseptic and safety protocols to ensure a clean, comfortable, and professional treatment environment.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, expected outcomes, and recommended self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, progress notes, and clinical observations in accordance with applicable regulations and clinic policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist.
• Graduate of an accredited acupuncture or Oriental Medicine program.
• Experience treating acute pain and musculoskeletal conditions preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection-control practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient-service skills.
