Our client, is seeking an Interim Controller to lead the accounting and finance function during a leave. This hands-on role will support the executive team, maintain day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely financial reporting, and help facilitate a smooth transition.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors and support audit preparation if necessary.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for leadership as requested.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including previous Controller or Assistant Controller experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
