Our client is seeking a Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide maternity leave coverage for a valued team member. This assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks, ASAP to allow for comprehensive training and transition support prior to the employee's leave. The end date may be adjusted based on business needs and the employee's return timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Research and resolve billing, invoicing, and payment-related issues
- Assemble and review supporting documentation for invoicing
- Process invoices, credit memos, and file transfers accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate and track backorders as needed
- Maintain and update multiple Excel spreadsheets, including hours-tracking reports
- Process incoming mail and distribute relevant documentation
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and maintain organized documentation
- Collaborate with internal departments to support customer and accounting needs
Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Receivable, Accounting Assistant, or related administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
