Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes for assigned Technology and Operations portfolios.
- Develop driver-based financial models supporting headcount, vendor spend, and investment planning.
- Ensure compliance with Truist financial policies, including expense management, capitalization for internally developed software, and internal controls. 4. Build and maintain total cost of ownership views across support functions, including labor, vendor, and infrastructure costs.
- Analyze variances, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Deliver scalable reporting and automate recurring processes using enterprise tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including process improvement, automation, and emerging AI-driven analytics capabilities.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly in both written and oral form to senior leaders and key stakeholders across business functions and finance organizations.
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
- Eight years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Proactive in completing tasks and producing deliverables.
- Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes. Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interpret and communicate financial analysis to business partners in a concise and useful manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound and logical decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work well with others in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with GAAP. High proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products. Financial Modeling experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Technology and/or Operations organizations.
- Prior experience building or managing total cost of ownership frameworks for support functions.
- Knowledge of capitalization policies for internally developed software (e.g., labor capitalization, project vs. BAU classification).
- Experience with resource management forecasting, including headcount and contractor modeling.
- Exposure to agentic AI, automation, or advanced analytics use cases in Finance.
- Experience partnering across Finance, Technology, Data, and Risk in a matrixed environment.
- 6 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. 9. Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Demonstrated experience working in a regulated, control-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and risk management practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to and influence senior leaders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
