Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications during patient intake.
- Prepare exam rooms, assist healthcare providers during procedures, and support basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection or X-ray setup.
- Support physicians with medication administration, wound care, or other bedside procedures in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and documentation to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, coordinating referrals, and processing insurance information.
Requirements
- Experience in a clinical setting such as urgent care, or outpatient clinics.
- Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and ICD coding standards.
- Familiarity with Athena EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and support patient care activities
- Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional patient services.
- Phlebotomy skills with proven venipuncture experience

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
