Field Service Technician

We are looking to bring on qualified Field Service Technicians for our client based out of Tacoma, WA. In this position, you will be tasked with installing, troubleshooting, and performing scheduled service on automated storage & conveyor equipment. This position requires someone to be comfortable with traveling and having a dynamic schedule. You will have access to a company vehicle and have the opportunity to see many work environments. This is a direct hire position.

Compensation: $52K-55K/annually, DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasionally Saturdays, 7 am - 4 pm, OT as needed

Location: Tacoma, WA,

Responsibilities:

• Install automated storage and retrieval systems (conveyors, carousels, vertical lifts)
• Perform onsite maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting, and repairs of automated storage equipment using hand and power tools
• Maintain inventory and spare parts in the service vehicle
• Complete daily reports and monthly expense reports in Word or Excel
• Other duties as assigned

Here are the things that someone will need for this position

• Have verifiable multi-meter experience on the job
• Have experience with hand and power tools
• Be comfortable with 2 - 3 weeks of travel per month
• Be able to fill out template forms in Word and Excel
• Have a relatively clean MVR

Requirements:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with hand and power tools
• Be able to obtain a security clearance, badges, and other certifications to gain access to all customer work sites
• Have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Be able to travel frequently (potentially 2-3 weeks out of the month) and be able to be on call after-hours
• Be able to pass a drug screen (including THC) and a background check
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR
