Deburr Technician / Lead – Precision Manufacturing
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $20-$22 DOE
Location: Kent, WA
Overview
We are looking for Deburr Technicians to remove burrs and imperfections from machined metal parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. The Deburr Lead also oversees a small team while performing hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Remove burrs, blend, and polish parts using hand and power tools
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Operate tumblers and load/unload parts
- Maintain tools and report maintenance issues
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Mentor team members (Deburr Lead)
- Follow all safety rules and use PPE
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year manufacturing or metalworking experience (vocational training accepted)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled with hand tools; experience with grinders/sanders preferred
- Precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) a plus
- Aerospace experience helpful
Physical & Work Conditions
- Stand for long periods; lift/push up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and part handling
- Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, fumes; PPE required
