Assembly Technician

We are seeking motivated Assembly Technicians to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling aerospace components and subassemblies while ensuring all products meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation: $20-22/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Location: Kent, WA

Responsibilities:

• Assemble aerospace parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications.
• Position and align components using jigs and fixtures while verifying tolerances with precision measuring tools.
• Install parts, structural components, bolts, rivets, and other fasteners using drills, rivet guns, and hand tools.
• Drill, ream, and countersink holes per engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions.
• Perform visual inspections to identify missing or incomplete operations.
• Maintain accurate production records and manufacturing documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all manufacturing procedures, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience operating hand tools such as drills, rivet guns, and screwdrivers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow written work instructions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, or move materials with assistance as needed.
• Must be eligible to work in accordance with ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person).
