What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multimedia Designer position at Truett McConnell University?
Position Summary: Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the
Multimedia Designer is responsible for graphic design across a broad range of university
communications, including social media content, print materials, campus digital displays, and official
university publications. This individual will also support the university’s multimedia needs by capturing
photography and video at campus events and will maintain the Creative Services studio and equipment
inventory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere Pro,
and Illustrator.
• Technical knowledge of DSLR camera operation for both photography and videography,
including experience with studio lighting, audio capture, and post-production editing.
• Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other
employees, including support staff, faculty and administrators.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting
deadlines.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in Graphic Design,
Visual Communications, Mass Communications, Digital Media, or closely related field. Preferred 5
years of professional experience in graphic design.
