Outside Sales Representative (Electrical Wholesale)

OverviewBased in Fremont, CA with Branches within the San Francisco Bay area, we are a leading CA-based electrical distributor who are seeking a Senior Outside Sales Representative to grow contractor relationships and drive revenue across the SF Bay Area. This role targets medium to large commercial electrical contractors, with a focus on core electrical systems and corresponding commodities: including but not limited to: wire, conduit, switchgear, lighting, cabling, and renewable energy solutions such as BESS systems.This is a high-ownership, high-visibility sales role for someone who understands the commercial construction cycle and thrives on building multi-million-dollar books of business. Those who succeed are highly entrepreneurial, well networked among professionals in the electrical construction industry, and are customer obsessed! We've established a reputation of supporting our Sales staff with a world class local and nationally distributed Ops team, direct authority to make quick decisions to win trust among clients, and to never stop asking Executive leadership how we can better support you & your client base. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and expand a territory focused on commercial electrical contractors and developersSell across a diverse portfolio including switchgear, lighting, wire, pipe, and renewablesHandle contractor accounts generating $10M-$20M annuallyCollaborate with internal teams on quoting, inventory, and delivery executionDrive pursuit efforts for large projects and major bid opportunitiesUse CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline and reportingQualifications5 years of direct industry experience in commercial electrical distribution (industrial or public utilities is great too)Proven annual revenue track record of $10M–$20M per year.Strong technical fluency across key product categories: gear, lighting, wire, renewables.Local market knowledge of Bay Area contractors and construction cycles.Self-starter with strong CRM discipline and relationship-building skills.Ready to Grow?If you're an experienced building materials & electrical outside sales professional ready to lead in a growing territory with big upside, this is your opportunity!
