Manager, Corporate Accounting | Private Equity Real Estate Investment Firm

Compensation: $130K-$160K Bonus & other long-term incentives

We're heavily specialized in investments in middle market opportunities with a contrarian approach that has built decades of success.

We're hiring a Corporate Accounting Manager to own the financial operations of the firm itself - not fund-level work. This is a direct seat at the table. You'll collaborate with the Corporate Controller with regular visibility to firm leadership and ownership - the kind of exposure that takes years to get at other firms both public and private.

What you'll own:

• Corporate P&L, intercompany billings, and consolidation.
• Carried interest tracking, bonus accruals, and partner capital accounts.
• Expense allocation across the Management Company, GP entities, and Investment Funds.
• Mentoring and developing corporate accounting staff (Sr. Accountants, Property Accountants, AR/AP, Financial Analysts).
• Yardi/Concur workflow automation and KPI reporting. Managing ERP system overhauls and identifying efficiencies in cross platform functionalities.
• Monthly actuals-to-budget reporting for leadership.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA and/or MBA (Finance/Accounting)
• 5-8 years experience in Tax, Advisory, or Audit work (client facing).
• Big 4 or Top 25 public accounting background strongly preferred.
• Software: Yardi, Concur, Power BI/Alteryx/Tableau a plus
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff, providing accountability, and establishing a culture of efficiency & excellence.
• PE, Real estate, property management, or similar corporate accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Must be comfortable on-site in Irvine 5 days/week
