Trueline's client, a well-established manufacturer and supplier of structural building materials, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in Morrisville, PA. This role oversees daily operations in a truss manufacturing facility, leading production staff, ensuring quality standards, and driving efficient output in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do as the Production Manager:
Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 production employees
Oversee the manufacturing of roof and floor trusses from start to finish
Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules
Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards
Monitor workflow and adjust resources to maintain efficiency and deadlines
Collaborate with internal teams to align production with project timelines
Train, mentor, and hold team members accountable for performance
Maintain a strong presence on the production floor throughout the day
Must-Haves as the Production Manager:
3 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with roof and floor truss production
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 15 employees
Excellent communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate teams
Proven ability to manage schedules, workflows, and quality control processes
Comfortable working onsite daily in a full production environment (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Nice-to-Haves as the Production Manager:
Experience in building materials or lumber manufacturing
Background working with companies similar to Builders FirstSource or other truss manufacturers
Process improvement or lean manufacturing experience
