Trueline's client, a rapidly growing leader in mission-critical infrastructure supporting AI, manufacturing, and hyperscale data center development, is seeking an HSE Manager to join their team. This position offers a remote home base with extensive travel and onsite project assignments throughout the United States.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on safety leader who is comfortable being the primary HSE resource on-site and has the confidence to influence teams at every level of a project.
What You'll Do as the HSE Manager:
- Lead site-specific health, safety, and environmental programs from project startup through completion
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Develop and implement safety plans, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and emergency response procedures
- Deliver safety training, orientations, and ongoing workforce education programs
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and project-specific safety requirements
- Maintain all required safety documentation, reporting, and compliance records
- Partner closely with construction managers, subcontractors, and project leadership to proactively manage risk
- Support environmental compliance efforts, including permitting, waste management, and site-specific requirements
- Track and report key safety metrics and performance indicators
Must-Haves as the HSE Manager:
- 5 years of HSE, EHS, or construction safety experience
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, energy, manufacturing, mission-critical, or civil construction projects
- Strong understanding of OSHA construction regulations and field safety practices
- Experience developing safety programs, JSAs, and site-specific safety plans
- Proven ability to conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence field personnel and subcontractors
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively and spend extended periods onsite during active project phases
Nice-to-Haves as the HSE Manager:
- OSHA 500, CSP, ASP, CHST, or similar safety certifications
- Data center, hyperscale, mission-critical, manufacturing, or energy project experience
- Experience managing environmental compliance programs and permitting requirements
- SWPPP experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
- Experience with Procore, Intelex, or other safety management software
- Flexibility to relocate for future project opportunities
