We are seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to join the team in a hybrid office and field-based capacity. This role partners closely with Project Management to keep projects organized, on track, and well-documented, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a future Project Manager role.
What You'll Do as the Project Engineer/Coordinator:
- Support project setup, execution, and closeout alongside the Project Manager
- Assist with developing project estimates, budgets, and cost tracking
- Maintain accurate project documentation within project management systems
- Track project progress and ensure records are current and complete
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and documentation with clients and internal teams
- Communicate updates to stakeholders and support ongoing client relationships
- Execute change orders and support financial alignment of projects
- Maintain organized project files, logs, and closeout documentation
- Identify project issues and escalate when appropriate
Must-Haves as the Project Engineer:
- Experience in construction project coordination, project engineering, or estimating support
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
- Familiarity with project management or construction software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid numerical and analytical ability
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills
Nice-to-Haves as the Project Engineer:
