TrueFit Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multi-family housing construction projects from planning through completion. Pre-Construction & Planning
- Attend design meetings to review materials, systems, and proposed construction methods.
- Review architectural, engineering, and landscape plans from concept to construction documents.
- Provide constructability feedback and operational insights to the project team.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, municipalities, utility districts, and regulatory agencies.
- Assist in obtaining permits, licenses, and approvals.
Construction & Oversight
- Monitor daily construction progress and schedule adherence.
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and project requirements, including contractor submittals and RFIs.
- Review potential change orders (PCOs/PCORs) and provide recommendations.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and enforce code compliance.
- Identify and report any cost, schedule, or safety risks promptly.
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Represent the company professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and a sense of urgency among team members.
- Communicate clearly, verbally, and in writing with contractors, authorities, and colleagues.
- Adapt to evolving policies, procedures, and project deadlines.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of field construction experience in multi-family housing projects.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other business software.
- Budget-conscious with experience managing KPIs is a must.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction best practices, and site civil work.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Texas driver’s license with current automobile liability insurance.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record; periodic updates may be required.
