Responsibilities
- Own Capabuild's content calendar and produce a consistent stream of blog posts, guides, case studies, emails, and social content tailored to restoration and mitigation contractors.
- Write clear, practical content that addresses the day-to-day challenges of restoration field crews and back-office teams - from job documentation to project management workflows.
- Partner with the product and customer success teams to capture customer stories and turn them into relatable, trust-building case studies.
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy to grow organic visibility among restoration contractors searching for workflow solutions.
- Support lead generation and nurture campaigns with targeted content assets aligned to each stage of the buyer journey.
- Track and report on content performance - traffic, engagement, conversions - and use data to continuously improve content strategy.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that feels approachable, knowledgeable, and relevant to the restoration industry.
- Identify and manage freelance writers or agency partners as content volume scales.
Requirements
- 3 years of content marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, field service, or construction-adjacent industries.
- Excellent writing and editing skills - able to make technical or industry-specific topics accessible and engaging.
- Proven ability to manage an editorial calendar and deliver content consistently and on schedule.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and content performance tools.
- Comfortable conducting interviews and extracting compelling stories from customers and internal teams.
- Familiarity with the restoration, mitigation, or property damage space is highly valued.
- Organized self-starter who thrives with ownership and minimal micromanagement.
