True View Windows & Glass is seeking an experienced Commercial Storefront Lead Installer to join our growing Commercial Division. This position is responsible for leading field installations of commercial storefront, glazing, and related systems on new construction and renovation projects.
The ideal candidate is a skilled installer with strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and perform commercial storefront and glazing installations.
- Review project documentation, measurements, and materials prior to installation.
- Coordinate daily field activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
- Install storefront systems, glass, doors, hardware, and related products while maintaining company quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and oversee installation helpers and junior technicians.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and internal departments regarding project status and field conditions.
- Utilize company software and technology for scheduling, documentation, photos, and communication.
- Identify and report field issues, material shortages, safety concerns, and project discrepancies.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Maintain required certifications, including aerial lift and scissor lift certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial storefront, glazing, or window installation experience.
- Strong knowledge of storefront systems, glass products, hardware, and installation methods.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and field measurements accurately.
- Experience leading installation crews or supervising field personnel.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift and carry 75–100 pounds safely.
- OSHA safety training or certification.
- Experience operating boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- Experience in both commercial and residential glazing environments.
