About Us

Bentonville True Value Hardware is seeking a responsible and customer-focused Keyholder/Sales Lead. This person will help run assigned shifts, support associates and ensure the store is opened or closed properly when the Store Manager or owners are not present.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and help them locate products.
• Learn basic hardware, plumbing, electrical, paint, lawn-and-garden and home-repair products.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Process purchases, returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Stock merchandise and maintain assigned departments.
• Face shelves and ensure products are properly labeled.
• Help customers load and carry merchandise.
• Complete price checks and assist with inventory counts.
• Keep aisles, counters and customer areas clean and safe.
• Notify a manager or keyholder about customer concerns or inventory problems.
• Assist with freight, merchandising and seasonal resets.
• Perform other store duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hardware or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly and comfortable approaching customers.
• Willing to learn about hardware and home-improvement products.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to regularly lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Available for a combination of mornings, evenings or weekends.
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.

This is not a cashier-only position. Every associate will be expected to assist customers, stock merchandise, operate registers and help maintain the store.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• retail receiving, inventory, stocking, warehouse operations: 1 year (Preferred)
