True Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Project Technician to clean, maintain, and protect our client facilities. This role requires extensive custodial experience, strong knowledge of floor care techniques, and a high level of professionalism. Project Technicians play a key role in maintaining the internal and external appearance of buildings, ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strip, refinish, and maintain flooring, including use of low-speed and high-speed buffers
- Perform deep cleaning of restrooms using Kaivac equipment
- Clean carpets and operate auto scrubbers and other commercial cleaning equipment
- Install and maintain dispensers (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
- Empty trash, dust surfaces, and arrange furniture to prepare spaces for use
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets
- Wash, sanitize, and restock restrooms and other high-touch areas
- Clean and sanitize mirrors, windows, doors, and other commonly touched surfaces
- Identify, report, and assist in overseeing repairs of major facility damage
- Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows, and setting alarms
- Complete additional custodial or janitorial assignments as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or similar role
- Working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and techniques, including:
- Kaivac systems
- High-speed and low-speed buffers
- Auto scrubbers
- Hand tools
- Understanding of safe cleaning and waste disposal practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach to facility needs
- Strong physical condition with the ability to lift, stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to work efficiently in large areas and confined spaces
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, bending, walking, and standing
- Comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces and up/down staircases
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
