Overview
True Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our environmental services team. This role involves maintaining and restoring the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial services, with a focus on floor care, including carpet cleaning, buffing, and general cleaning tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment while developing skills in commercial cleaning and floor maintenance.
Duties
- Assist lead technician with stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing floors.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and solutions to remove stains and dirt
- Buff and polish hard floors to restore shine and protect surfaces
- Apply appropriate treatments for floor care, such as sealants or protective coatings
- Maintain cleanliness of designated areas according to established standards
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines during all cleaning procedures
- Learn advanced floor care techniques through hands-on training
- Operate Kaivac in Kitchens & Restrooms as assigned (we will train)
- Other project work may be assigned.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning and floor care is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, and sealing surfaces is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Willingness to be flexible in start and finish times when needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
