True Shot Ammo has rapidly expanded to become the largest ammunition retailer in the state and one of the largest in the country. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Event Specialist to join our team and help represent our brand at local and national events.
EVENT SPECIALIST
As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for and executing events that promote our brand and engage our audience. This role requires creativity, organization, and to ensure every event is memorable and successful. Firearms and ammunition knowledge is a plus, but not required. Dedication to customer service and the ability to handle physically demanding work is essential.
Job Details:
- Pay: $15-$17 per hour
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Schedule: Primarily Thursday – Sunday; some additional days may be required
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Work Location: In person
- Travel: Local and national travel required
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Execute events, including trade shows, gun shows, product demonstrations, and promotional activities
- Set up, manage, and break down event booths and displays
- Interact with customers to provide exceptional service and gather feedback
- Conduct data collection during events to assess engagement and effectiveness
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop branding strategies for events
- Utilize public speaking skills to present products and services confidently
- Support sales efforts by communicating product benefits to potential customers
- Foster relationships with vendors and partners to enhance event success
- Ensure compliance with any applicable regulations
Job Requirements / Experience:
- Previous experience in event marketing or coordination is preferred but not required
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of firearms or shooting industry is a plus but not required
- Background in food service is a plus, especially for events with catering or demonstrations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with social media management and data collection methods is a plus
- Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends and travel frequently
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual candidates encouraged
