We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide variety of mechanical systems while helping maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
Schedule:
- Permanent Night Shift
- 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule (14 work days in 28 days)
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Qualifications:
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills involving rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, industrial piping, boilers, and steam systems.
- Experience installing and aligning bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, gearboxes, and electric motors.
- Working knowledge of lubrication systems and preventive maintenance practices.
- Experience with industrial welding (MIG, TIG, and Stick) for equipment repair and fabrication.
- Ability to install and repair industrial piping systems, including black iron, stainless steel, and copper pipe.
- Comfortable performing equipment rigging, machinery installation, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Willingness to obtain RCRA certification.
- Ability to become certified on powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights when required.

Essential Duties:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment throughout the facility, including hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, steam, boiler, and cooling systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Install, replace, and align bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, gearboxes, and industrial motors.
- Rebuild and install gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.
- Complete precision alignment, balancing, and mechanical installations.
- Perform basic fabrication and welding using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Install and repair black pipe, stainless steel pipe, copper piping, and related mechanical systems.
- Support equipment installations, machinery relocation, and industrial rigging projects.
- Maintain lubrication schedules and ensure proper lubrication of production equipment.
- Read mechanical drawings, equipment documentation, and technical manuals to support repairs and installations.
- Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities while following company safety procedures and OSHA standards.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance and equipment service records.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to maintenance team members when needed.
- Perform additional maintenance responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay at $34.00/hour
