What You'll Do:
- Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware.
- Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
- Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
- Monitor computer systems to import network performance for computer systems and networks.
- Communicate networking issues to other employees management especially in training new users.
- Fix software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Network Administration, or related field; and five (5) years of work related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without supervision.
Computer Skills
- Strong knowledge of various types of computer equipment and software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Oracle certification is preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
