ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all operational functions of TNR Fairbanks.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Fairbanks administrative office.
  • Support the functionality of key TNR programs in Fairbanks, including: Clinical Services, Case Management, Peer Support Services, Housing Programs, Residential Programs
  • Provide direct supervision and support to the following staff: Residential Peer Supervisor at the House of Hope Residential Center (HOH), TNR Recovery Residence Program & Staff, TNR Reentry Grant Program & Staff, Program Leads across service areas
  • Provide indirect support to the TNR Fairbanks Crisis Program and its operational needs.
  • Directly supervise the facilities maintenance needs in Fairbanks in partnership with the Director of Facilities to ensure completion of projects and compliance of standards.
  • Oversee or assist in the coordination of Peer Support operations as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of grant-related activities and data.
  • Work alongside senior leadership team members to assist in the expansion of projects in Fairbanks.
  • Collaborate closely with community partners, stakeholders, and justice system representatives to strengthen external relationships and support client services.
  • Attend and assist with client bail hearings as necessary.
  • Lead and/or support the hiring efforts to fill vacant positions in the Fairbanks area.
  • Promote integration between clinical and non-clinical staff and help maintain cohesive operations across all departments.
  • Serve as a core member of the TNR Leadership Team and contribute to strategic decision-making for company-wide initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of performance of the staff, resolving identified problems, and reporting information to the Quality Assurance Specialist and other Executive team members as deemed necessary.
  • Participate in the supervision, evaluation and corrective action of personnel within operations
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures in compliance with agency policies and Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) guidelines.
  • Oversee and supervise an effective intake / discharge process.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings to discuss plans, outline goals and objectives, review problem areas and disseminate information.
  • Represent the agency in contacts with the Department of Behavioral Health, the Department of Corrections and other community entities as deemed necessary.
  • Provide monthly operational reports to CEO/COO
  • Maintain TNR culture
  • Complete other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to obtain CDC1 within 4 years of hire.
  • Full QAP designation preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices as it relates to daily operations.
  • In depth understanding of mental health disorders as defined in DSM-V codes.
  • Experience facilitating leadership and interdisciplinary team meetings.

  • Compile and verify data and prepare reports.
  • Maintain current knowledge of program rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and be able to assist staff in the implementation of those accordingly.
  • Analyze situations accurately and assist staff in implementing effective courses of action.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role is primarily performed in an office building with standard office environment and controlled temperatures.  When working outdoors or at a job site the employee may be exposed to construction equipment or other moving objects/equipment; reference job site specifics.  The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk/hear, see, read, and personally interact with others.
