What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at True North Medical Group LLC?
Busy pediatric office is looking to add a full time medical assistant to our team. We need team players with flexibility in scheduling. Schedule will include working one Saturday morning per month.
Duties will include:
- Assist in the collection of patient/family data to enter in the EMR.
- Room patient and record vitals.
- Assist the provider, as directed, during treatments, exams, and testing as directed by the provider and within the scope of practice.
- Administer medication and immunizations as directed by the provider per practice protocol.
- Support patient/families in selfmanagement of their health through assisting with education.
- Collect and processes specimens according to the manufacturer’s instructions and using proper technique.
