What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Injury Associate Attorney position at True North Injury Law?
WHY TRUE NORTH?
At True North Injury Law, we're building more than a law firm - we're building the most trusted personal injury team in Utah. Every day we help people navigate some of the hardest moments of their lives, guiding them toward healing and financial recovery.
If you're an attorney who wants more than just billable hours - someone who craves meaningful client contact, hands-on experience, and the chance to grow with a mission-driven firm - this may be the place for you.
Here, you won't be buried in research memos or stuck behind the scenes. You'll be on the front lines, advocating for clients, telling their stories, and shaping outcomes that truly matter.
WHAT WE DO
We are involved in one of the most important jobs there is - we make people whole physically, emotionally, and financially after car accidents. Our work includes investigating claims, evaluating coverage, building cases, collecting evidence, managing insurance communication, negotiating, and litigating to secure fair settlements and verdicts. It is incredibly exciting and fulfilling work.
We believe in combining the best of customer service, constant innovation, and sound legal principles to show insurance companies, juries, arbitrators, and mediators who our clients are and why they deserve what we’re asking for.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
- Grit and determination
- Respect without exception
- Open, transparent communication
- Ways to improve
- The client comes first
- Honor your commitments
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Are you a passionate advocate for injured people? Have you been told that you communicate in a clear and compassionate way? Do you know how to guide a client with empathy and care? Are you detail-oriented and efficient in a high-demand environment? Do people tell you that you make them feel like they matter? - Independence – We hire grown-ups and treat you like one. You will have clearly defined objectives, be turned loose to accomplish them, and get to account for how you knock it out of the park.
- Collaboration & Culture – Our team makes us who we are. We are a close-knit team that celebrates wins together, brainstorms case strategy as a group, hosts firm events, reads and learns together, and actually enjoys the work day.
- Balance – No endless billable-hour grind. Do meaningful work and still have a life outside the office.
- Compensation & Benefits – $80,000-$100,000 salary commensurate with experience, annual health insurance contribution, PTO, wellness allowance, continuing education, Gym/Shower on site, paid holidays, drinks & snacks.
